INSUshield tubing is a closed cell, fire retardant (FR), tri-dimensionally crosslinked polyethylene foam (XLC) pre-formed for thermal insulation meets requirement of ‘Class O’ for fire propagation and ‘Class I’ generally confirms to surface spread of flame as per BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7 respectively. It is an ideal environment-friendly material with a perfect solution for thermal insulation in piping to retard heat gain or loss during service.
